Simply play our Trivia Game on Facebook from October 2-7 and answer eight questions correctly. Winners of the Trivia Game will then be emailed a ticket (max one ticket per player) to an exclusive tournament to be held on October 11 at 21:35 GMT (limited to the first 18,000 players). Finish in the top four of the WSOP November Niners Final Table Tournament and we’ll send you and two of your friends on a journey under the bright lights of Vegas from October 30 through November 2.
This year’s WSOP Main Event finalists are largely considered one of the best groups since the establishment of the November Nine in 2008. Among them are chip leader Cliff “JohnnyBax” Josephy, a legend in the online poker world; established poker pros Jerry Wong, Kenny Hallaert, and Gordon Vayo; USA players Michael Ruane and Qui Nguyen; and the Czech Republic’s Vojtech Ruzicka. There are also two players who’ll be sporting the 888poker patch come November – Canada’s Griffin Benger and Spain’s Fernando Pons.
Both of those men, who are guaranteed $1 million just for making the final table, qualified for the Main Event via our satellites and are now in contention for the $8 million first-place prize. Interestingly, both come from opposite ends of the poker spectrum.
Benger is a well-respected poker pro who was formerly the No. 1 ranked online player in the world and had millions in live tournament earnings. Meanwhile, Pons is an amateur who qualified for the tournament via a €30 888poker.es satellite.
Come November, Benger will be looking for redemption after finishing 90th in the 2014 WSOP Main Event, while Pons will attempt to battle back from the short stack to etch his name in poker history and create his own Chris Moneymaker-like fairytale ending. Now, you have the chance to watch first hand as both these men battle for poker immortality.
To participate in this Promotion, players must be at least 21 years old or the age of legal consent for engaging in the activities included in the services on the website under the laws of any jurisdiction applicable to them. For full terms and conditions on the promotion, click here.
In November, someone is going to win $8 million. The question is will you be there to watch it?
